MONITORING COMMITTEE
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Following officials are hereby appointed as members of the Monitoring Committee of “Mananala Nallaatharavu Mandram” for the Under Graduate Students of the Government Medical College, Namakkal.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Monitoring Committee shall Monitor, Review, Facilitate the activities of Empowerment Committee on a periodical basis.
- The Department of Psychiatry be the Nodal Department for Students “Mananala Nallaatharavu Mandram” and Offer Guidance with regard Mental Health Promotion and related services and training.
- The committee shall receive feedback from “MANAM” Faculty Ambassadors regarding the teaching-learning process, extra-curricular activities, student support services, mentoring, requirement of special attention and suggestions for improvement in academic training.
- The committee shall submit an appraisal report on the activities of MANAM to the Directorate of Medical Education, on yearly basis for further improvement and action.

Periodicity of the Meeting: The Monitoring Committee meeting shall be conducted once in 3 months to Monitor, Review and facilitate the activities of Empowerment Committee.
EMPOWERMENT COMMITTEE

- The Following officials are hereby appointed as members of the Empowerment Committee of “Mananala Nallaatharavu Mandram” for the Under Graduate Students of the Government Medical College, Namakkal.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The empowerment committee shall act as a Democratic, inclusive platform to share student’s experiences, concerns on an informal basis during the periodical coming together of the Empowerment committee and empower the student community.
- The committee shall strive for the collective involvement of “MaNaM” Faculty Facilitators& Peer Ambassadors to make the learning an enriching experience and de-escalation of stressful situations through discussion about student’s life stressors.
- To carry out awareness activities and conduct sensitization programs at regular intervals.
- Confidentiality, Trust, Empathy, Non-Judgmental Approach are the essential features of training and sensitization programs.
